Pulse: the ceiling grid goes in
The ceiling contractor has started placing the grid for the system ceilings. Lighting and motion sensors go in next, then the ventilation grilles, before the ceiling is closed up.
Even during the construction industry's summer break, work at Pulse hasn't stopped. The next step in the transformation has been taken: the ceiling contractor is on site, placing the grid for the system ceilings.
It's happening on the ground floor, the first floor, the toilet groups, and the general areas, all at once. Grid work is the kind of task that looks minor on its own but sets the pace for everything that follows: lighting, sprinklers, and the finished ceiling all depend on getting this right first.
What's next
With the grid in place, the next phase follows in sequence: lighting and motion sensors go in first, then the ventilation grilles. Only once all of that is fitted does the ceiling get closed up. Step by step, Pulse keeps getting closer to delivery. 4,250 sqm across six floors, 109 parking spaces on site, and a building that's now more system than shell.
